Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is a network of organs and vessels that helps rid the body of toxins, waste, and other unwanted material. It consists of the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, and tonsils, as well as the lymphatic vessels that carry lymph fluid throughout the body. Lymph fluid collects harmful material from the tissues and transports it to the lymph nodes, where it is filtered and removed from the body.
