Liver Cancer

Liver cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the cells of the liver. The most common type of liver cancer is called hepatocellular carcinoma, which starts in the cells that make up the liver. Other types of liver cancer include cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the bile ducts) and primary sclerosing cholangitis (a rare disease that causes inflammation and scarring of the bile ducts).
