Nasopharyngeal Cancer
Nasopharyngeal cancer is a type of head and neck cancer that affects the nasopharynx, the upper part of the throat behind the nose. It is a rare cancer, accounting for about 2% of all head and neck cancers. Nasopharyngeal cancer often starts with a small growth on the roof of the mouth called a leukoplakia. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; a lump in the neck; and ear pain.
